Here are some summary snapshots of our recent sold-out Career Networking Events:

Thank You for another fully sold-out networking event.
Over 350 Graduate PMETS from 50 universities representing 13 countries including US, UK, Australia, India, China, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Ireland, Korea and Singapore got together at Attica (Clarke Quay) on 24 March 2011 after work. They came to network with over 40 representatives from 9 premium companies, and other sales & marketing graduate professionals in Singapore.
About 80% of event participants are in sales, marketing & business development roles and 85% have at least 3 years of working experience, 50% with more than 5 years. This is indeed the largest networking event held exclusively for sales & marketing graduate professionals.
To benefit graduates working in different industries, in a specially arranged 30-minute “Perspectives” panel forum, 7 senior level marketing experts from premium companies were invited to share valuable insights and experiences, relating to succeeding in sales and marketing.
After the panel, there were plenty of opportunities for event participants to have drinks, mingle and network with each other, the panel speakers, and more than 40 corporate representatives from the 9 participating companies. Here's what some of them had to say:
"An opportunity like this is perfect, in a couple of hours in one evening you can network with up to 300 people and quickly identify the very narrow profile person you are looking for or high-calibre talent and meet them face to face straightaway."
- Mark Chan Yan (Vice President and Region Manager, Pulp & Paper Business Unit - South Asia), ABB
"I think it’s a very successful event and this would be a good platform where corporates can also explore new talents in the market…and you never know what kind of talents you can find from the other sectors, so I’m very glad, overall very well organised."
- Teh Chong Mien (Vice President, Commercial Sales), STARHUB
"I think this is a typical win-win scenario for me. We are looking for good candidates, a lot of people coming over & speaking to us, a lot of opportunities."
- Narayan Raghavendra (Director, Market Support), THE VOLVO GROUP
We would like to thank all of you who came and helped make this event meaningful and valuable!

Specially tailored for graduates in the Engineering, Technology and Life Sciences sectors,
successfully held its latest installment of sold out career networking events: "Career Networking @ Home – Alfresco style by the River"!
More than 170 graduate PMETs packed the iconic Home Club @ Riverwalk on 30 September 2010, to network and connect with over 40 representatives from 8 premium companies.
The participants at the event represented more than 30 recognised universities, from 12 countries including UK, Australia, India, US, Canada, Germany, France, China, Vietnam, Iran, Myanmar and Singapore.
85% graduated with degrees either in Engineering, Technology or Life Sciences. More than 70% have at least 3 years of working experience, and are in the 25 - 35 age group.
A new and well-received feature of this event was an exclusive "Up Close & Personal" private session.
Selected graduate PMETs were able to meet senior executives of the represented organisations in a smaller and more personalised setting. This gave them the opportunity to have an extended 1-to-1 engagement.
Senior management executives from 5 renowned companies shared their insights and gave valuable advice during a special 30-minute panel forum - "Perspectives".
Graduate PMETs learnt how they can position themselves and seize career opportunities in growing segments within the Engineering, Technology and Life Sciences sectors.
The event ended with company representatives commenting that they were delighted to have had this opportunity to engage with a great number of quality graduate PMETs.

| THANK YOU! |
Once again,
successfully organized
a sold-out networking event, connecting more than 300 members
of our graduate community with over 50 representatives from more
than 10 participating companies! In all, over 40 universities
were represented at this event, making this the biggest Career
Networking event for the graduate community!
Long queues started forming from 4.30pm and by the time the event got underway, the entire venue was near standing room only!
One of our event highlights was ‘Perspectives’ – a panel forum discussion comprising of senior management executives from top-name organizations, sharing valuable experience, advice and ideas that were both anecdotal and insightful.
The eagerly awaited networking activities then kicked off in a flurry. At every corner of the venue, we saw our graduate members interacting and exchanging contacts with the participating organizations.
By the end of the event, our graduates went off with bags full of informative corporate materials and multiple job opportunities. A number of our event participants returned to the venue after their dinner to enjoy free re-entry and waiver of cover charge for the night at The Arena.
We want to thank everyone who were there, who helped make this event such a huge success. We certainly enjoyed ourselves and we hope you did too.
